Webinar: Supporting children through fussy eating phases

Early Start Australia presents a webinar and Q&A for caregivers about supporting children through fussy eating phases.

Supporting children through fussy eating

What is fussy eating and how do we manage it?

Do mealtimes feel like a battleground rather than a peaceful family gathering?

If you’re a parent or caregiver of a child who is a selective eater, then you’ve likely experienced the stress and concern over your child’s nutrition and eating habits.

Are they getting enough? Will they grow out of it?

Join our multi-disciplinary panel of senior therapists working in our ESA Early Childhood therapy teams to learn more about what picky eating is and when it becomes a problem.

We’ll discuss why a child might only eat certain coloured foods or textures and what strategies to use to introduce different foods.

While children go through many developmental stages it’s important to know when to seek help and who to reach out to for support.

What you will take away from this session

  • Develop a practical set of strategies to help you introduce new foods
  • How you can make mealtimes easier and less stressful
  • How to support mealtimes at home and away from the home
  • How and where to seek support
