At Early Start Australia, we understand behaviour. We know why children experience challenges with behaviours of concern, and work closely with families and caregivers to understand and manage behaviours that can cause your child and others harm.
Enquire now Request a call backChallenging behaviour, or behaviours of concern, impact all family members and can greatly affect the quality of life of you and your child.
We are here to help.
A qualified allied health professional, usually an occupational therapist or psychologist, will first listen to your story and seek to understand the reason for the behaviour occurring.
An initial consultation will include goal setting and further assessment of your child and family’s needs.
Your therapist will then develop a therapy plan which will outline what therapy approach they will use, how many sessions you may need, and any other professionals that may need to be involved.
We work in partnership with you, your child, and the team around your child.
If you are NDIS funded with Improved Relationships funding, we will arrange for you to meet with one of our Positive Behaviour Support practitioners.
Our multi-disciplinary team works together with you to understand your child’s needs. From there, we’ll develop a plan with evidence-based strategies. Work with us to achieve your goals and enjoy a better quality of life.
