This webinar is for parents and caregivers of children with autism who would like to know how they can best support their fussy eaters. Autistic children can experience challenges with eating for many reasons. Join our multi-disciplinary panel of senior therapists working in our ESA Early Childhood therapy teams to learn more with an opportunity for questions and answers.

Dr Nicole Grant

Senior Occupational Therapist and ESA’s Head of Clinical Governance

Dr Nicole Grant is a senior occupational therapist with over 20 years industry experience and is Early Start Australia’s Head of Clinical Governance. Nicole has vast experience working with children with developmental delays and neurodevelopmental disorders. Through her years of clinical practice, research and personal experience as a parent of neurodivergent children, Nicole has gained an extensive knowledge base on a range of child development concerns, and she is passionate about supporting families on their journey.

Holly Puckering

Senior Speech Pathologist and ESA’s National Clinical Consultant

Holly Puckering is a dedicated speech pathologist with 20 years of experience working with individuals facing eating and swallowing difficulties. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 2004, Holly has focused on providing holistic care that helps families of all ages navigate and overcome mealtime challenges.

In addition to her clinical work, Holly has played a key role in coordinating clinical projects and was instrumental in developing ESA’s national network of feeding therapists. As ESA’s National Clinical Consultant, she contributes to shaping effective practices and innovative approaches to feeding therapy across the country.

Holly’s commitment to supporting families and her ability to deliver thoughtful, evidence-informed care have been central to her career. Over the years, she has helped countless individuals and families find solutions to complex feeding issues, with a focus on practical, family-centred care.

Heather Towner

Senior Speech Pathologist with additional training in feeding therapy

Heather is a senior speech pathologist, with training to provide orofacial myology services, at ESA Upper Mount Gravatt. She has a special interest in early intervention, caregiver coaching, augmentative and alternative communication and feeding. Heather is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming practice and advocating for her clients.
