Since 2012, Early Start Australia has been leading the way for paediatric allied health and also for young children with autism in Geelong

Our clinic offers a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment for your whole family to feel safe and belong. We believe in the enormous potential that lies within every child and that every child deserves the best start in life.

We believe in bringing together the right interventions at the right time, together with a team that is right for you. Our services are for anyone seeking the best start for their child or young adult (0-18 years).

If your child has a known delay or need, or maybe you are wanting to simply explore some concerns, we can help. Whether it’s individual therapy, a community program (support in kinder and school), parent coaching or via telehealth, we help find the mode of delivery that works for you and your child.

We welcome Medicare referrals, NDIS participants. NDIS registered for agency managed, self-managed and plan managed Participants.

We are located in a heritage building with a warm and inviting atmosphere for children and adolescents seeking assistance. We also offer community-based supports.

Programs

As part of your therapy journey your therapist we may recommend some specific therapy programs to assist in achieving your goals including:

The use of alternative augmentative communication (AAC) strategies can support people with communication difficulties.

When working with children we use a family-centered model, supporting caregivers and children to develop skills, knowledge and understanding as we all work together.

Therapy support services for schools including screening programs, therapy support and education to help children improve participation and reach their full potential.

Provides families with flexibility, offering regular sessions with an allied health assistant at home, kindergarten, childcare and all natural environments, targeting goals in the community setting.
