Early Start Australia Manly is a leading provider of quality allied health supports to children and families on the Northern Beaches of Sydney

Our Manly clinic is the first ESA dedicated early intervention centre in NSW providing evidence-informed autism supports and early interventions including the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) approach.

Our experienced and multidisciplinary team provides psychology, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, art therapy, early intervention and off-site services to children aged 0-10 years. We also provide comprehensive assessment services including diagnostic assessments for autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) and a range of other allied health assessment.

The Manly therapy team is passionate about providing interventions and supports and offers the unique Little Oaks and Community program within the clinic and local community. A complimentary 30 minute information session can be booked in with one of our fantastic practitioners to found out more about our programs and availability.

Programs

As part of your therapy journey your therapist we may recommend some specific therapy programs to assist in achieving your goals including:

Little Oaks is for children under five years of age, particularly toddlers, with known developmental delays, autism or disabilities.

Dysgraphia is a Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) in written expression.

Children and teenagers with dysgraphia often display troubles with spelling, handwriting, written expression, and clarity and accuracy of writing. 

Provides tailored and individualised programs for children, delivered in homes, childcare, kindergarten and all natural settings.

Provides families with flexibility, offering regular sessions with an allied health assistant at home, kindergarten, childcare and all natural environments, targeting goals in the community setting.

rachel daruty manly

Rachel Daruty

Clinical Manager

Rachel Daruty is a Senior Speech Pathologist with over 14 years of experience working with children and families across various settings.

She began her career in government and not-for-profit organisations, providing expert support and best practices for neurodivergent individuals, children with intellectual disabilities, and those with other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Rachel has extensive experience in training and consulting with professionals in schools, preschools, group homes, residential care, and allied health fields.

She is highly skilled in working with early language and phonological awareness development, as well as strategies to support children with challenging behaviours while enhancing their communication and social skills.

She later transitioned into leadership roles, serving as a manager for multiple NDIS providers.

In this capacity, she guided clinicians in delivering best-practice support to children with learning and developmental challenges in school, home, and clinical environments.

Passionate about empowering her team, Rachel possesses a deep understanding of clinical guidelines, strong problem-solving abilities, and a multidisciplinary approach.

She is dedicated to working with children with severe developmental delays, integrating strategies from various allied health disciplines while adapting interventions to each child’s natural environment and daily functionality.
