Coming soon to the Sunshine Coast

A brand new, purpose-built centre in Buderim opening 1 July 2021.

Early Start Australia is a national provider of early intervention and therapy services for children 0-18 years.  We are excited to announce the opening of our newclinic in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast in early July 2021.

Delivering therapy services backed by strong clinical evidence, we look forward to providing Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy services to families in the  area.

Our expertise is in working with children  who have challenges associated with developmental delays, genetic disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, language delays and other neurological disabilities and mental health diagnoses.

From our newest clinic in Buderim, we will provide clinic-based, mobile and telehealth services to clients in order to best meet your needs.

The Buderim team is a growing group of therapists who are warm, passionate, kind-hearted and willing to go that extra mile for clients, families and workmates. Our team has  a strong knowledge of early intervention programs, evidence-based practice and will endeavour to stay on top of and up to date with all things happening in our fields as well as our local area. Our team also has knowledge of behaviour support practices and will be able to assist with managing difficult behaviours and contributing to behaviour support plans.

Georgie Pearce
Practice Principal

Georgie (Master of Occupational Therapy) is our Practice Principal and a Senior Occupational Therapist. Georgie has experience working with children, adolescent and adult populations with a wide range of neurological disabilities and mental health diagnosis.

Passionate about what she does, Georgie is  an engaging and enthusiastic  therapist driven by increasing the independence and daily functioning of her clients. She is goal oriented and ensures she is following the best evidence when providing therapeutic intervention.

Georgie has post graduate training in a variety of therapy techniques including positive practices in behaviour support, harnessing neuroplacticity in learning, strength-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing and the model of human occupation. Georgie is also certified in delivering the PEERS® adolescent and young adult social skills group program.

Skilled at creating a safe space for her clients to practice new skills without fear of making mistakes, Georgie embraces her  positive and upbeat personality to quickly build rapport,  motivate and create good connections with her clients and their support network.
