About Us
Early Start Australia | VIC | Canterbury (formerly Clarity Plus Speech Pathology) has been established for 25 years in and around Camberwell and the Melbourne metropolitan area. We specialise in assessing and working with children and adolescents who experience communication and literacy difficulties.
Our philosophy is to work in partnership with parents and teachers to provide current, evidenced-informed speech and language therapy in a friendly, supportive environment. We offer a broad range of services including individual and group sessions.

Meet Our Senior Speech Pathologist
Loretta is a Senior Speech Pathologist who has over 40 years’ experience in Private Practice and Educational settings. She enjoys building close working relationships with the children and families with whom she works, as well as establishing collaborative working partnerships with staff at the various educational facilities she visits. Loretta has broad experience in many aspects of Paediatric Speech Pathology with particular interest in supporting students with social communication difficulties including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Meet Our Team
We have a team of friendly therapists who are focused on developing and improving children’s communication. We are experienced in assessing and treating speech, language, Autism Spectrum and learning difficulties.
Our therapists aim to make each session engaging and fun for young children whilst ensuring that their speech and language goals are addressed. We encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s therapy and provide advice for home practice.
