Early Start Australia Ellenbrook

Since 2016, we’ve been proudly delivering occupational therapy and speech and language pathology services to families across the northeastern Perth metropolitan area, including Ellenbrook and surrounding suburbs.

Our services have grown to include psychology and physiotherapy, allowing us to provide holistic support for children and young people from birth to 17 years. Therapy is available in-clinic, via state-wide telehealth, and through mobile appointments at home, childcare centres, preschools, and schools—ensuring flexible access to care wherever it’s needed.

At the heart of our approach is a commitment to working in partnership with you and your child. We focus on supporting meaningful participation in everyday life, guided by your goals, priorities, and family values.

Our team have a variety of experience and training, including early intervention (under 7 years), mealtime challenges, AAC and more!

As part of your therapy journey your therapist we may recommend some specific therapy programs to assist in achieving your goals including:

Hanen programs are evidence-based and world-renowned parent-training programs designed to teach parents how to implement speech and language therapy into their everyday activities with their child.

We run small social skills groups for children experiencing difficulties fitting in at school or with their peers.

Therapy support services for schools including screening programs, therapy support and education to help children reach their full potential.

The use of alternative augmentative communication (AAC) strategies can support people with communication difficulties.

A personalised program is developed to help guide and support your child to develop the skills to use the toilet independently
