Our clinics were the first to bring the ground-breaking Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) program to Australian families and proudly offer the rigorous ESDM training that is required for professionals.
We provide Psychology, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Pathology services to children (0-7 years) in the Hawthorn area and believe in the enormous potential that lies within every child and young person.
The Hawthorn Therapy Centre is passionate about providing interventions and supports and offers the unique Little Oaks program.
COVID-19 has created opportunities for us to deliver our allied health services via Telehealth which means we can help even more families, no matter where you are located.

Clinical Manager
Louise has had a diverse and interesting career, which has fostered a passion for provision of excellent healthcare.
She strives to work collaboratively with clients and their families to live their best lives and is proud to be leading a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team at Early Start Hawthorn.
Over her career, Louise has worked as a dietitian and medical practitioner with clients across the lifespan.
More recently, she has shifted her medical practice towards non-clinical medicine, and has enjoyed working in administration and education. She continues to love learning and teaching.
Having worked in mental health for many years now, Louise believes that it is an enormous privilege to be invited into a client’s health journey and have the opportunity to positively impact lives through client-centred care and advocacy.
Children have the most amazing minds and it is a joy to discover their unique super-powers!
Outside of work, Louise enjoys being outdoors as much as possible, exploring all the flora and fauna that Victoria has to offer and is rarely seen without a strong soy flat white in hand!
