About Us

Our clinic’s focus is on empowering the child and family to maximise the child’s potential through individualised activities that are incorporated into play. We recognise that the parents and caregivers are the experts regarding their child or young adult and consider them to be a key member of the intervention team. Assessments and intervention can be conducted in the child’s or young adult’s environment to reduce any stress and to make the services contextual to their world.

Our team provides care for children and young people with conditions including:

  • Cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke and traumatic brain injury
  • Genetic conditions including Down Syndrome and achondroplasia
  • Low muscle tone
  • Developmental delay
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

Lyndsay Currie
Practice Principal

Practice Principal, Lyndsay Currie, is a qualified physiotherapist with over 30 years’ experience working in childhood disability. Her extensive experience has provided her with specialist knowledge in all aspects of cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions. Lyndsay is committed to ensuring that all children and their families continue to receive the best quality of service which is founded in current evidence-based practice.
