Early Start Australia | WA | West Leederville has been providing psychology services for children, adolescents and families since 2014. Whilst many of the families we assist are located in the western suburbs of Perth, we also have families travelling long distances from rural and remote areas to seek support. It’s rewarding seeing positive changes take place in family relationships and emotional wellbeing.
Our psychologists have expertise conducting detailed psychological assessment to explore unique strengths and struggles associated with emotion, behaviour, attention and learning. We enjoy assisting children in primary school, teenagers in high school, students applying for special examination arrangements through School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and for university considerations. We offer assessment to determine if an individual meets diagnostic criteria for Specific Learning Disorder (such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia) and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Each of our psychologists have specialist areas of interest to offer counselling across the lifespan for parents, families, couples, children, teenagers and adults. We assist parents navigating family relationships, couples experiencing relationship struggles, mothers and fathers with postnatal depression and anxiety, toddlers displaying challenging behaviours, children and teenagers with anxiety, primary school and high school students handling tricky peer social relationships, students learning to organise workload during their final years of education, and university students managing new expectations.
Our psychologists offer assessment and therapy to assist healthy development across the lifespan for parents, families, couples, children, teenagers and adults. We have postgraduate training and specialist expertise to assist across a range of concerns, such as;
- couple relationships
