Armadale welcomes three Curtin University students
We’re excited to welcome three Curtin University Master’s students who will be joining us for their first-ever placement!
Over the coming months, they’ll gain hands-on experience by observing and assisting with assessments, interventions, and sessions across a variety of settings, including our clinic, schools, daycare centres, and homes.
In addition to their clinical work, they’ll also be helping with resource creation to support our ongoing programs. We’re thrilled to have them on board and look forward to seeing them grow in their roles!
Please find a little more information about one of our students:
Esther Wu
Esther is a master’s student studying speech pathology at Curtin University.
Her passion for the field was sparked by her family’s experience with stuttering, which deepened her curiosity about speech production and the impact of communication challenges on daily life.
On placement at ESA, she is most excited to observe how experienced clinicians make evidence-based decisions in real-life therapy sessions and to learn how to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
Esther says she is truly grateful to be part of this team and to have the opportunity to learn from such experienced and supportive professionals. She thanks you all for your guidance and for creating a welcoming environment where she can grow and gain valuable insights!
