Join our multi-disciplinary panel of senior therapists working in our ESA Early Childhood therapy teams to learn more about the often-overlooked physical development of children with autism.

The panel will explore topics such as gaining an understanding of common physical difficulties that are prevalent in children with autism.

We will also discuss screening techniques and when to refer to a physiotherapist.

Practice Principal & Senior Physiotherapist

Jordi is a senior physiotherapist at South Australia’s Hindmarsh clinic. She has a special interest in early intervention supports and promoting understanding of the physical needs of children with autism spectrum disorder among clinicians and families. Jordi is the current physiotherapist in the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Child Development Unit team, bringing valuable experience working alongside children and families as they navigate neurodevelopmental assessment and the early stages of an ASD diagnosis.

Senior Physiotherapist

After completing her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy over 5 years ago, Bianca gained valuable experience in both regional and metropolitan private practice and not-for-profit settings. She has worked across a variety of areas, including adult musculoskeletal and respiratory care, as well as paediatric and adult disability. Since March 2024, Bianca has been a dedicated member of the team at Early Start Australia Ellenbrook, where she continues to build on her passion for paediatric physiotherapy. Her experience includes supporting physical skill development in children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and various orthopaedic, neuromuscular, and respiratory conditions. Her passion for working with children is evident in her active involvement in community children and youth programs for more than 8 years, where she has supported children in developing friendships and a sense of belonging within their community.

Eleanor Beinke

Senior Occupational Therapist

Eleanor is a Senior Occupational Therapist at South Australia’s Hindmarsh clinic who is passionate about ensuring the physical needs of those she supports are reflected meaningfully in therapy. Eleanor continues to implement this knowledge into meaningful activities, mealtimes, hydrotherapy and a range of community options. She brings experience and skill in supporting the sharing of this knowledge with a large and continuous cohort of allied health students and early career clinicians. She continues to work within a multidisciplinary team to support children and young people.
