Oakleigh

Welcome Lena, speech pathologist!

lena oakleigh

Our Oakleigh team is excited to welcome Lena to our speech pathology team.

Lena has always enjoyed working with children, even before she started her career in speech pathology.

While completing her undergraduate studies in linguistics, Lena coached rugby for children, and taught arts and craft for children’s enrichment classes.

From there, Lena developed a greater passion for working with children, and a strong interest in early speech and language development.

Hailing from Singapore, Lena made the move to Sydney to complete her Masters in Speech Language Pathology and has never looked back since.

After living in Sydney for 4.5 years, Lena decided to move interstate in 2022 to Melbourne.

Lena has mostly worked with children with special needs, communication and feeding difficulties, and frequently reads up on her special interests in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), feeding, and orofacial myology.

Outside of work, you can find Lena at the gym or doing Pilates.

She is also a certified barre instructor and is currently completing her certification as a Pilates instructor!

Lena loves travelling and learning about new cultures and languages.

We are currently taking immediate bookings for Lena and look forward to introducing her to our community over the coming weeks.
