Inklings Program in WA

Early Start Australia, in partnership with the Telethon Kids Institute, is a proud delivery partner of the Inklings Program, a ground-breaking initiative in WA which supports babies aged 6-18 months who are showing early differences in their social interaction and communication development.

What is the Inklings Program?

Funded for eligible WA families through the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), the Inklings Program is designed to help caregivers understand how their baby communicates, and to support them in responding and interacting with their baby.

Backed by extensive research, the program uses short videos of caregiver-baby interactions to assist caregivers in understanding and nurturing their baby’s communication skills.

To deliver the program, Early Start Australia practitioners have successfully completed dedicated Inklings practitioner training.
