School Aged Social Skills Group
This group is designed for primary school students who are working on developing their social language skills and interactions with peers.
The School Aged Social Skills Group focuses on using non-verbal and verbal language with others. It also focuses on participation in collaborative activities with peers in which the children learn to get along with others, problem solve, listen, negotiate, share ideas, support and notice others and respond appropriately to others ideas.
This group provides children with an opportunity to learn and consolidate these skills in a small group environment and give them the confidence to transfer these skills into their everyday situations at home, school and with their friends.
