What is the Quick Steps program?

Led by Early Start Australia’s early childhood therapists, this program is designed for children with developmental delays and behavioural needs.

Families can choose a goal from a range of options to support their child’s growth, with frequent, targeted therapy aimed at accelerating progress or helping children get back on track if they’ve fallen behind.

Select the goal you want to focus on

The program is tailored to help your child make progress towards the growth and development goal that matters most to you and your child.

  • Five one-on-one therapy sessions: Therapy sessions with your child, over two weeks tailored to their specific strengths.
  • Parent coaching or expert-led webinars: Selected depending on your child’s goal.

  • Maximise progress towards your child’s goals: Without school routines, children have more energy and focus for therapy, leading to better engagement and progress.
  • Therapy that adapts to you: While therapy is primarily clinic-based, school holidays provide a unique opportunity for flexible sessions at home or in the community, helping children build real-world skills.
  • Ease anxiety around new experiences: Guided practice in different environments helps children feel more comfortable with change and new situations.
