Joey is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst. She commenced her career in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis in 2013, providing Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Joey was the first Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst in South Australia in 2015, following the completion of a Bachelor of Psychological Science at The University of Adelaide, a Bachelor of Arts (Honours), majoring in Psychology, as well as an Assistant Behaviour Analyst Graduate Certificate from the Florida Institute of Technology. She later earned her Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis from Monash University.
Joey has extensive experience in providing Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention and is particularly interested in sleep interventions and Relational Frame Theory. She is committed to providing evidence-based interventions to all children and their families at Early Start Australia. At present, she leads the supervision and training of staff at Early Start Australia to ensure that all clients receive high-standard and effective services.
